Do men think they are wild in bed?

Occasionally in the past I have responded to an RHP man that I don't believe we are suited because I don't feel that he is kinky enough for me. This is always met with surprise and shock, the man is almost offended that I would say such a thing. And yes, this occasionally leads to the guy asserting that I probably couldn't handle him anyway. Admittedly, I haven't investigated if they are more kinky than their profile suggests, but only because I have already decided that they are not for me. So my question, why do some guys get offended at the comment that they are not kinky enough, and do men pride themselves on how wild they think they are in bed?
