What is the usual practice when you put down your interest in attending a function?I have put my name forward for attending and received nothing back from the hosts.What is the assumption that I am attending?Or do I sit on baited breathe waiting for a reply?Or better still, just make other arrangements?I don't wish to be an idiot and just turn up and then realize I wasn't welcome.So what is the correct thing to do here?
