Remember when everyone got a tramp stamp... Most girls around my age were 18ish around the time tramp stamps were a fad and i know plenty of women who now regret the decision. Then emo came in and i was at uni so i met heaps of people who got lots of tattoos and probably now wish they hadn't devoted themselves to something that no one much thinks is the height of fashion anymore. And most recently this massive trend towards getting lobe stretchers. I'm seeing an alarming number of high school girls already up to 20 and 50 cent piece sizes. Now the body mod crowd just isn't that big and will always be a niche group. Do these kids even know that stretchers are permanent? What do you think... Will it stay in and become like jeans (sure the fit changes from season to season, but its still jeans right?). Or will we have another generation of people a testament to fad-ism. At least you could take happy pants off...Also... less permanent, buts whats with all the dorky bearded blokes everywhere...? Is it now fashionable to look like a dweeb?
