Do profiles with travel plans attract more attention?.,

I travel often on business and find it relatively easy to arrange to meet people on my trips. Several of them have remained long term relationships. However, in my home City, I find it more difficult. Does this mean that a travel profile attracts more attention? Could it be that an out-of'-towner creates a perception of greater discretion? Thoughts please.
