Shibari, your experiences?

I've recently been introduced to the idea of shibari (Japanese rope bondage), have seen some photos and it looks really interesting and beautiful. Could those who have experienced it before please let me know about your experiences; did you like it? Why? Why not? Help me to make up my mind as to if I take this further or not. Tia
