How to change yr username

Hi after trying for ages to even get on this sites few weeks ago we tried so many different names and it wasn't even that they weren't available or taken just for some reason it wasn't accepting technical issues etc so we got sick of typing and just made a last attempt and it accepted a stupid username!!
